This dataset contains coastal waterbody status results recorded in accordance with the European Communities (Water Policy) Regulations 2003 (SI No. 722/2003), covering the period 2013-2018 for Ireland. It reflects assessments of ecological and chemical status for coastal waterbodies under the EU Water Framework Directive, part of national efforts to attain good status in waterbodies currently below that standard and to retain good status where already achieved. The data is published via data.gov.ie and relates to environmental monitoring and water policy implementation at national level.This dataset contains all the Coastal Waterbody Status results recorded in accordance with European Communities (Water Policy) Regulations 2003 (SI No. 722/2003).
