WFD Lake Waterbody Status 2010 - 2015
This dataset presents ecological and chemical status assessment results for lake waterbodies in Ireland monitored under the EU Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC) for the period 2010-2015. It reflects efforts to achieve or maintain at least good ecological status and good chemical status in lakes by 2015, as required by the Directive. The data covers individual lake waterbodies and their assessed status classifications, providing a basis for tracking compliance with water quality objectives across the country.This dataset contains the status results for lake waterbodies (LWB) monitored as part of the EU Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC) with the objectives to achieve or maintain at least good ecological status and good chemical status by 2015.
