WFD Lake Waterbody Status 2016 - 2021
This dataset provides Water Framework Directive (WFD) status results for lake waterbodies in Ireland covering the period 2016-2021, including status assigned to unmonitored lake waterbodies. It reflects assessments made under the EU Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC), which aims to achieve or maintain at least good ecological status and good chemical status for water bodies.
