This dataset describes the occurrence of salmonid fish stocks in Finnish rivers and streams. It is compiled from the Ranta10 watercourse network produced by the Finnish Environment Institute (Syke), new catchment area proposals developed in the VALUE project, and administrative area data on environmental and natural resource responsibilities of the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres) produced by the National Land Survey of Finland. The dataset combines hydrological and administrative geospatial layers to represent where salmonid fish populations occur within Finland's river network, supporting analysis of fish stock distribution at a national scale.Virtavesien lohikalakannat on aineisto, joka kuvaa lohikalakantojen esiintyvyyttä virtavesissä.
