Weather forecast data HARMONIE-AROME - pressure surfaces
The dataset contains the latest HARMONIE-AROME weather forecast data produced by the Finnish Meteorological Institute for pressure surfaces. The data covers atmospheric quantities on constant pressure surfaces (1000, 925, 850, 700, 500, 300 hPa levels) including temperature, relative humidity, wind direction/speed/horizontal components and geopotential altitude. The HARMONIE-AROME weather model is run four times a day (00, 06, 12 and 18 UTC), each with a forecast length of 66 hours. HARMONIE-AROME is a limited area model whose calculation area covers the Scandinavian region, the Norwegian Sea and the Baltic region. The horizontal lattice spacing used in the model is 2.5 km. The coordinate system used in the calculation of the model is in Lambert's projection.
