This dataset lists agglomerations, wastewater treatment plants, and their discharge points as reported under the EU Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (91/271/EEC). It is maintained by the Finnish Environment Institute (Suomen ympäristökeskus) and supports Finland's obligation, shared by other EU member states, to report on implementation of the directive covering collection, treatment, and discharge of urban wastewater.
