Weather forecast data HARMONIE-AROME
This dataset provides the latest weather forecast output from the HARMONIE-AROME numerical weather model, produced by the Finnish Meteorological Institute. It includes near-surface parameters such as 2 m temperature, 10 m wind speed and direction, surface pressure, cloudiness and precipitation. The model runs four times daily (00, 06, 12 and 18 UTC), each producing a 66-hour forecast. HARMONIE-AROME is a limited-area model covering Scandinavia, the Norwegian Sea and the Baltic region, with a horizontal grid spacing of 2.5 km, calculated using a Lambert projection coordinate system.The dataset contains the latest weather forecast data produced by the Finnish Meteorological Institute using the HARMONIE-AROME weather model. The data cover, for example, basic weather parameters close to the ground, such as 2 m temperature, 10 m wind speed and direction, surface pressure, cloudiness and precipitation. The HARMONIE-AROME weather model is run four times a day (00, 06, 12 and 18 UTC), each with a forecast length of 66 hours. HARMONIE-AROME is a limited area model whose calculation area covers the Scandinavian region, the Norwegian Sea and the Baltic region. The horizontal lattice spacing used in the model is 2.5 km. The coordinate system used in the calculation of the model is in Lambert's projection.
