Official Trawling Zones - Amended 2012
A geospatial dataset defining the official trawling zones within Malta's Fisheries Management Zone (FMZ), as amended in 2012. Trawling within the 25 nautical mile zone is legally restricted to designated sites, detailed in Annex Va of EC Regulation 1967/2006 and its 2012 amendment. The dataset is published by Malta's Planning Authority and made available through a WFS service, allowing spatial analysis and integration into GIS systems.
