Territorial and Internal Waters
This dataset delineates Malta's territorial and internal waters. It was originally supplied by CSD in the WGS 84 coordinate reference system and subsequently transformed by ERA (Environment and Resources Authority) into ETRS89TM33. ERA processed the data to support reporting obligations arising under the Marine Strategy Framework Directive. The data is published by the Planning Authority and made available as a WMS service, and can be used for marine spatial analysis and environmental reporting related to Malta's marine waters.The original data was provided by CSD in WGS 84 and subsequently transformed by ERA into ETRS89TM33.
