This WFS API provides access to soil type data for the Maltese Islands, published by the Planning Authority. Malta's soil pattern is highly intricate, with semi-natural and agricultural areas and differing soil types often occurring within a single field or within a few metres of each other. The dataset draws on the national soil inventory MALSIS, established in 2014, which described and classified Maltese soils according to consistent criteria.
