Radiation Soil Points 2019
This WMS service provides data on soil radioactivity monitoring points across Malta and Gozo, published by the Planning Authority. Soil samples are collected once a year from four fixed points and sent to an accredited laboratory for radionuclide analysis. The monitoring programme is carried out in accordance with Commission Recommendation 2000/473/Euratom, which sets requirements for radioactivity monitoring of the environment. The dataset supports national environmental radiation surveillance.Soil samples are collected once a year from four points along Malta and Gozo.
