Radiation Water Points 2019
This WMS service provides geospatial data on radiation monitoring at water sampling points around Malta and Gozo for 2019. Water samples are collected quarterly from three locations and analyzed for radionuclide content by an accredited laboratory. Monitoring follows requirements set out in Commission Recommendation 2000/473/Euratom. The dataset is published by the Planning Authority and can be accessed via an OGC Web Map Service, supporting mapping and analysis of environmental radiation monitoring sites in the Maltese islands.Water samples are collected from three points along Malta and Gozo on a quarterly basis. Samples are sent to an accredited Laboratory for radionuclide analysis. Such monitoring is carried out according to the requirements arising from Commission Recommendation 2000/473/Euratom.
