Strategic land use designations
This dataset provides a subset of the Strategic Proposals and Marine Objectives published in the Strategic Plan for the Environment and Development (SPED) for Malta. It maps the locations of designated strategic land uses, including business hubs, fuel storage sites, park-and-ride car parks, power stations, and priority areas for social and community facilities. The data is served as a WMS layer via the haleconnect platform and is maintained by the Planning Authority, Malta's national body responsible for land-use planning and environmental development strategy.
