This dataset identifies significant agricultural pressures affecting lakes and transitional and coastal (TraC) waterbodies in Ireland that are assessed as being at risk of failing to meet water quality objectives under the EU Water Framework Directive. While individual waterbodies may be subject to multiple pressures, the dataset focuses on those specifically linked to agriculture that must be addressed to achieve good water status. It supports water quality assessment and management planning by identifying where agricultural activity contributes to risk of failure, informing catchment management and mitigation measures.
