Lake and TRaC Historically Polluted Site Pressures
This dataset identifies significant pressures affecting lake and transitional/coastal (TRaC) waterbodies in Ireland that are at risk of failing to meet water quality objectives under the EU Water Framework Directive. Although each waterbody may be subject to multiple pressures, only those pressures deemed significant—meaning they must be addressed to achieve or maintain good water status—are recorded here, with a specific focus on historically polluted sites.
