This dataset identifies significant urban run-off pressures affecting lake and transitional/coastal (TRaC) waterbodies in Ireland that are considered at risk of failing to meet water quality objectives under the EU Water Framework Directive. Although each waterbody may be subject to multiple pressures, the dataset focuses specifically on those judged significant enough to require action to achieve or maintain good water status. It is published via Ireland's open data portal and supports water quality assessment and management planning by identifying urban run-off as a source of pressure on lake and TRaC waterbodies nationally.Significant pressures have been identified for waterbodies that are At Risk of not meeting their water quality objectives under the Water Framework Directive.
