This dataset identifies significant aquaculture-related pressures affecting lake and transitional and coastal (TRaC) waterbodies in Ireland that are assessed as being at risk of not meeting water quality objectives under the Water Framework Directive. While individual waterbodies may be subject to multiple pressures, the dataset focuses specifically on those pressures considered significant enough to require action to achieve or maintain good water status. It is published via Ireland's open data portal, data.gov.ie, and supports national water quality risk assessment and management under the Water Framework Directive framework.Significant pressures have been identified for waterbodies that are At Risk of not meeting their water quality objectives under the Water Framework Directive.
