Historical Groundwater Quality 2003-2005
This dataset provides point-based groundwater quality data for Ireland covering the period 2003-2005, prior to the introduction of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) monitoring regime. It records measured groundwater quality levels at monitoring locations nationwide, offering a historical baseline against which later, WFD-compliant groundwater quality assessments can be compared. The dataset is published via Ireland's open data portal and is relevant for hydrogeological research, environmental monitoring, and tracking changes in groundwater condition over time across the country.This is a points dataset of pre-WFD Groundwater quality levels, 2003-2005.
