This dataset presents the valuable agricultural production areas identified for the Austrian province of Lower Austria through the research project BEAT ("Bodenbedarf für die Ernährungssicherung in Österreich" – soil demand for food security in Austria), led by AGES, the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety. The areas are delineated within the agricultural small-production regions of the province and represent land considered particularly important for securing future agricultural production and food supply.
