This dataset delineates zones from the sectoral spatial planning programme on wind power use in Lower Austria, pursuant to §20 Abs. 3b of the Lower Austria Spatial Planning Act 2014 (NÖ ROG 2014). Within these zones, the land-use designation "Grünland – Windkraftanlage" (green land – wind turbine) may be assigned. Municipalities apply this designation through the standard zoning procedure, including plan amendments, based on the boundaries defined in this notice.
