This dataset provides the outer boundaries of the Natura 2000 sites designated in the Austrian province of Lower Austria under the EU Habitats Directive (Council Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora). It covers areas protected for their natural habitats and wild species of flora and fauna across the province. The data is published and maintained by the provincial government of Lower Austria and can be used for environmental planning, nature conservation management, and spatial analysis related to protected areas within the region.Außengrenzen der nach Fauna-Flora-Habitat-Richtlinie (FFH-Richtlinie; Richtlinie 92/43/EWG des Rates vom 21.
