This dataset defines the area of application of the Lower Austria Beaver Regulation 2019 (LGBl. Nr. 97/2019), which governs management of the specially protected beaver (Castor fiber) in the municipalities listed in Annex 1. Excluded from its scope are nature reserves, the Danube Floodplains (Donau-Auen) and other national parks, and additional designated protected areas. The dataset is published by the Provincial Government of Lower Austria and can be used to determine where the regulation's provisions on beaver protection and management apply within the province.Der Datensatz umfasst den Geltungsbereich der NÖ Biber-Verordnung 2019 (LGBl.
