This dataset from the Geneva territorial information system (Système d'information du territoire genevois) describes verandas, or winter gardens, as surface objects within the cadastral layer of Canton Geneva. A veranda is included within the footprint of the adjoining above-ground building and is classified separately as a miscellaneous surface feature. It is defined by cumulative criteria: a gross area of less than 20 square meters and fully glazed construction.
