Night time noise indicator for aircraft in the agglomeration
This API layer provides night-time noise indicator levels representing sleep disturbance caused by aircraft noise within the agglomeration area of Malta. It is published by the Planning Authority Malta and defined in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2002/49/EC on the assessment and management of environmental noise. The data supports environmental noise mapping and reporting obligations related to aircraft noise exposure during night hours in the specified urban agglomeration.This layer shows the night time noise indicator levels which represent the noise indicator for sleep disturbance from aircraft noise present in the agglomeration as defined for Malta according to the requirements of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise.
