Night time noise indicator for roads in the agglomeration
This WMS layer provides the night-time noise indicator for roads within Malta's designated agglomeration, representing the noise level associated with sleep disturbance. It is produced under the requirements of EU Directive 2002/49/EC on the assessment and management of environmental noise, and is published by the Planning Authority Malta. The data supports strategic noise mapping and environmental noise assessment for national road infrastructure.This layer shows the night time noise indicator levels which represent the noise indicator for sleep disturbance in roads present in the agglomeration as defined for Malta according to the requirements of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise.
