This dataset provides sweep radar precipitation velocity products from Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD), Germany's national meteorological service. Data consist of radial velocity measurements with a horizontal resolution of 1 degree by 250 m and a range of 150 km, updated every 5 minutes. Products are offered both with and without polarimetric filtering, which flags non-meteorological interference signals to improve data quality. Coverage spans DWD radar sites including Borkum, Boostedt, Rostock, Hannover, Ummendorf, Prötzel, Essen, Flechtdorf, Dresden, Neuhaus, Neuheilenbach, Offenthal, Eisberg, Türkheim, Isen, Feldberg, and Memmingen, with current site locations listed separately in DWD's radar and wind profiler location index.These sweep radar data are location radial velocity products. Horizontal resolution is 1 degree x 250 m. The horizontal range is 150 km. The product has an availability of 5 min. This data is available with and without polarimetric filter, which flags interfering signals and increases the quality of the data. The data is available for the following radar sites: Borkum, Boostedt, Rostock, Hannover, Ummendorf, Prötzel, Essen, Flechtdorf, Dresden, Neuhaus, Neuheilenbach, Offenthal, Eisberg, Türkheim, Isen, Feldberg, Memmingen. Polarimetric filtering removes non-meteorological interference signals to improve data quality.
