This dataset directory provides RW radar precipitation data from the RADOLAN system operated by the Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD), Germany's national meteorological service. RW data are radar-derived precipitation estimates that have been calibrated using a weighted averaging of two standard adjustment methods, combining radar measurements with ground station data to improve accuracy. The data are provided at a spatial resolution of 1 km by 1 km, covering the national territory.
