This dataset provides PZ radar data, a site-based reflectivity product derived from volume scans, published by the German Weather Service (Deutscher Wetterdienst, DWD). Horizontal resolution is 1km x 1km, with a maximum range of 180km (400px x 400px) that varies by altitude. The product is generated every 5 minutes at 16-bit resolution. Data are available for numerous radar sites across Germany, including Borkum, Boostedt, Rostock, Hannover, Dresden, Feldberg, and Memmingen, with current site details listed in DWD's radar and wind profiler station index.Bei den PZ-Radardaten handelt es sich um ein Standort-Reflektivitätsprodukt basierend auf dem Volumenscan. Horizontale Auflösung ist 1km x 1km und die horizontale Reichweite ist aufgrund der Höhenabhängikeit variabel, beträgt jedoch maximal 180km (400px x 400px). Das Produkt wird alle 5 Minuten produziert. Die Auflösung der Daten beträgt 16 Bit. Die Daten sind für folgende Standorte verfügbar: ASR Borkum, Boostedt, Rostock, Hannover, Ummendorf, Prötzel, Essen, Korbach-Rhena Flechtdorf, Dresden, Neuhaus, Neuheilenbach, Offenthal, Eisberg, Türkheim, Isen, Feldberg, Memmingen.
