Fisheries Management Zone and Internal Waters
This WMS service provides spatial data delineating the Fisheries Management Zone and Internal Waters boundaries around Malta. The original data was supplied by CSD in WGS84 and reprojected by the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) into ETRS89 TM33. ERA processed the dataset to support reporting obligations under the Marine Strategy Framework Directive, including definition of the water column boundary used for MSFD purposes. The service is published by the Planning Authority and is relevant to marine spatial planning, fisheries management, and environmental reporting concerning Malta's territorial and internal waters.The original data was provided by CSD in WGS 84 and subsequently transformed by ERA into ETRS89TM33.
