WFD River Waterbody Approved Risk
This dataset provides a geographic layer showing the risk assessment for each river waterbody in Ireland of failing to meet its Water Framework Directive (WFD) objectives by 2027. Risk levels were determined through assessment of monitoring data, information on pressures affecting water quality, and data on measures implemented to address those pressures. Each waterbody is assigned a risk classification reflecting the likelihood of achieving WFD environmental objectives. The dataset supports national water quality management and reporting under the Water Framework Directive.This layer represents the risk for each waterbody of failing to meet their Water Framework Directive (WFD) objectives by 2027.
