Irish Shelf Seabed Geomorphological Map v2023
A high-resolution (up to 10 m per pixel) seabed geomorphology map covering the entire Irish continental shelf down to 200 m below sea level. The map was produced using high-resolution bathymetric data from the Irish National Seabed Survey (INSS) and the INFOMAR multibeam survey programme, classifying seabed features and landforms across the shelf. It is published and maintained by the Marine Institute and provides a national-scale geomorphological reference for the Irish shelf area, supporting marine spatial data needs at a resolution finer than previously available regional seabed classifications.Dataset present a high-resolution (up to 10 m/ pixel) seabed geomorphology map of the entire Irish continental shelf, up to a depth of 200 m below sea level (bsl).
