Designated Bathing Water Locations
This dataset identifies the locations of Designated Bathing Waters in Ireland, as defined under the EU Bathing Water Directive (2006/7/EC) and transposed into Irish law through the Bathing Water Quality Regulations 2008 (S.I. No. 79 of 2008). It is published by the Environmental Protection Agency and provides the geographic positions of officially designated coastal and inland bathing sites subject to water quality monitoring requirements.
