Focused Delivery Flow Points
This dataset identifies points where Focused Flow Paths, modelled overland flow pathways, enter a watercourse in Ireland. The size of each point represents the relative volume of flow delivered to the water body at that location. The data was produced as an output of the EPA DiffuseTools research project, which models diffuse pollution pathways across the landscape. It is published via Ireland's national open data portal, data.gov.ie, and can support analysis of diffuse pollution risk and catchment management by identifying locations where surface runoff concentrates before entering watercourses.”Focused Flow Delivery Points are where Focused Flow Paths enter a watercourse. The size of the point indicates the relative volume of flow delivered to water. This map was created from outputs from the EPA DiffuseTools Research Project.
