Farm and Landscape measures for Agriculture
This dataset identifies river subbasins in Ireland where agricultural measures are needed to restore water quality, as determined by the Environmental Protection Agency. Each subbasin is flagged with one or more colour codes indicating the type of water quality issue present: red for potential point-source pollution, orange for nitrate losses, and navy for phosphorus or sediment losses. The classification supports targeting of agricultural mitigation measures to address specific pollution pathways affecting water bodies, linking land management practices to water quality outcomes at the subbasin level across the country.Where agricultural measures are needed to restore water quality, the Subbasin are highlighted with one or more coloured flags to indicate the types of water quality issues associated with that Subbasin: Red (potential point source), Orange (nitrate losses) and/or Navy (phosphorus/sediment losses).
