Day evening night noise indicator for major roads
This WMS layer provides the day-evening-night noise indicator (Lden) for major roads in Malta, representing overall noise annoyance levels as required under EU Directive 2002/49/EC on the assessment and management of environmental noise. It is published by the Planning Authority Malta and forms part of Malta's environmental noise mapping obligations, offering spatial data on road traffic noise exposure across the national road network for use in environmental assessment and planning.This layer shows the day-evening-night noise indicator levels which represent the noise indicator for overall annoyance in major roads as defined for Malta according to the requirements of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise.
