Day evening night noise indicator for roads in the agglomeration
This API provides a WMS layer showing the Day-Evening-Night noise indicator (Lden) for roads within Malta's agglomeration, representing overall annoyance from road traffic noise. The data is produced by the Planning Authority Malta in line with the requirements of EU Directive 2002/49/EC on the assessment and management of environmental noise. It supports environmental noise mapping and assessment for transport-related noise sources across the national territory of Malta.This layer shows the day-evening-night noise indicator levels which represent the noise indicator for overall annoyance in roads present in the agglomeration as defined for Malta according to the requirements of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise.
