Climate reference values for meteorological observations
This dataset provides climatological reference values derived from weather observations recorded by the Finnish Meteorological Institute for three 30-year reference periods: 1971-2000, 1981-2010 and 1991-2020. It includes statistical summaries of atmospheric pressure, air temperature, relative humidity, precipitation, snow depth, wind, sunshine duration and total radiation measured at meteorological stations across Finland. The data is provided free of charge without authentication and covers national territory, supporting comparison of current weather conditions against long-term climatic norms for the specified periods.The climatic reference values for weather observations for the 30-year periods 1971-2000, 1981-2010 and 1991-2020 contain statistical data on atmospheric pressure, air temperature, relative humidity, precipitation, snow depth, wind, sunshine and total radiation at the meteorological stations of the Finnish Meteorological Institute during those periods.
