Daily values of weather observations
This API provides daily weather observation values from the Finnish Meteorological Institute's stations, with records dating back to 1844. It includes calculated daily average air temperature and daily precipitation, as well as measured minimum and maximum air temperature, minimum ground temperature, and snow depth. Air temperature extremes are measured at 06 and 18 UTC, and minimum ground temperature at 06 UTC, representing extreme values over the preceding 12-hour periods (18-06 and 06-18 UTC). The dataset covers Finland at the national level and is freely accessible without authentication.The data contains calculated and measured daily values from the Finnish Meteorological Institute's weather observation stations starting from 1844. Calculated values are the daily average air temperature and the daily precipitation. The measured values are minimum and maximum air temperature, minimum ground temperature and snow depth. The extremes of the air temperature are measured at 06 and 18 UTC and the minimum ground temperature at 06 UTC. These represent extreme values over the last 12 hours (18-06 and 06-18 UTC).
