UK Ireland Exclusive Economic Zone
This dataset provides the geographic boundary of the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) shared between the UK and Ireland, published by Ireland's Marine Institute via its marine data portal. An EEZ extends from the outer limit of the territorial sea to a maximum of 200 nautical miles from the territorial sea baseline, encompassing the contiguous zone, and grants the coastal state control over economic resources within it, including fisheries, oil and gas, and other marine resources.
