This dataset maps vegetation within the inventory of alluvial zones in the canton of Geneva. Objects from the original alluvial-zone inventory, along with later additions and modifications identified during updates, were digitized and mapped. Source materials, originally captured on transparent film, were scanned, vectorized, georeferenced and attributed to produce the current geospatial layer. It is maintained by the Système d'information du territoire genevois (SITG) and provides a geographic basis for environmental and water-management analysis of riparian and floodplain vegetation across the canton.Les objets de l'inventaire des zones alluviales, ainsi que ceux qui ont été ajoutés ou modifiés par la suite dans le cadre de la mise à jour, ont été saisis puis cartographiés.
