The wind energy concept – Map indicating federal government interests in the planning of wind energy plants
The wind energy concept is defined under Article 13 of the Swiss Spatial Planning Act (SPA, SR 700). It sets out the principal interests of the federal government that must be considered when planning wind energy installations, and identifies the main areas with potential for wind power generation that are to be taken into account in spatial planning processes.
