Register of Protected Areas - Shellfish Areas
This dataset provides the register of protected shellfish areas in Ireland, delineated as polygons. It originates from the 14 shellfish production areas listed in the Irish Shellfish Regulations (S.I. 200/1994) and was updated in 2009 to incorporate polygons delineated under the European Communities (Quality of Shellfish Waters) (Amendment) Regulations.
