River Basins
This dataset delineates the river basins of the Republic of Ireland, published via the national open-data portal data.gov.ie. It was created to fulfil the requirements of Article 3 of the Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC), which requires member states to identify river basins and assign them to river basin districts for water management purposes.
