This dataset identifies significant hydromorphological pressures affecting river waterbodies in Ireland that have been assessed as At Risk of failing to meet water quality objectives under the Water Framework Directive. Although waterbodies may be subject to multiple pressures, the dataset focuses on those considered significant enough to require action to help the waterbody achieve its objectives. It is published via data.gov.ie and supports water quality management and river basin planning at the national level.Significant pressures have been identified for waterbodies that are At Risk of not meeting their water quality objectives under the Water Framework Directive.
