This dataset identifies significant water abstraction pressures affecting river waterbodies in Ireland that are at risk of not meeting water quality objectives under the Water Framework Directive. While multiple pressures can affect any given waterbody, the dataset focuses on those abstraction-related pressures considered significant enough to require action if the waterbody is to achieve its environmental objectives.
