OneGeology cookbook exemplar bedrock age onshore 1:625k geology (OGC WMS)
This OGC Web Map Service is a British Geological Survey (BGS) contribution to the international OneGeology project, providing onshore bedrock geology data for Great Britain at 1:625,000 scale. The underlying map data derives from the ongoing BGS Digital Geological Map of Great Britain (DiGMapGB) project and is symbolised to show bedrock age. The service is delivered via MapServer software as a standard WMS layer, allowing the geological mapping to be viewed in GIS software or web mapping applications alongside other spatial datasets.
