This OGC Web Feature Service provides UK onshore bedrock geological data at 1:625,000 scale, encoded in GeoSciML and using CGI (Commission for the Management and Application of Geoscience Information) vocabularies. It is published by the British Geological Survey (BGS) as part of the ongoing Digital Geological Map of Great Britain (DiGMapGB) project and forms a BGS contribution to the international OneGeology initiative. The service is delivered using GeoServer software and allows machine-readable access to national-scale bedrock geology features for use in GIS applications, mapping, and geological research.This service is a BGS contribution to the OneGeology project, providing UK onshore bedrock geological data at 1:625 000 scale in GeoSciML.
