BGS OneGeology-Europe bedrock and surface onshore 1:625k geology (OGC WMS)
This OGC WMS service, published by the British Geological Survey, provides onshore bedrock and surface geology data for the whole of the United Kingdom at a scale of 1:625,000, derived from the DiGMap dataset. It contributes to the OneGeology-Europe initiative, which aims to create a harmonised digital geological map of Europe. Layers can be displayed either by geological age or by lithology, allowing users to visualise the distribution of rock types and formations.
