This is a British Geological Survey (BGS) contribution to the international OneGeology initiative, offering an OGC Web Map Service (WMS) view of onshore bedrock and superficial geology across Great Britain at 1:625,000 scale. The underlying data derives from the ongoing BGS Digital Geological Map of Great Britain (DiGMapGB) project, which compiles national geological mapping into a consistent digital dataset.
