This dataset presents the objects of the federal inventory of alluvial zones, including those added or modified during subsequent updates, for the canton of Geneva. The mapped objects were originally captured on transparent film, then scanned, vectorized, georeferenced, and attributed with descriptive data. The dataset documents vegetation cover within alluvial (floodplain) zones, supporting nature conservation, land-use planning, and environmental monitoring.
